Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Apr. 15, 2012, at Wiley Funeral Home. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Rafael was born Feb. 3, 1957, in Austin, to Leonard and Martha Mojica Sanchez. He married Leonor Hernandez. Rafael was a Baptist, a hard working man that loved his family very much. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Celestino Sanchez, Leonard Sanchez and Frank Sanchez.
Survivors: Wife, Leonor Sanchez; sons, Chris Sanchez and wife, Patricia, Rafael Sanchez, Jr. and wife, Paula, James Sanchez and wife, Tara; grandchildren, Dominick, Seth, Gordy, Saul, Caiti and Bella; brothers and sisters, Alfonso Sanchez, Joe Sanchez, Rosie Scott, Alice Cogburn, Margret Ramirez, Eva Zapata, Sandra Davalos, Marty Sanchez.
