GRANBURY — Randy Smith, 59, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2014, in Granbury.
Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, at Granbury First United Methodist Church. Burial: Holly Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wiley Funeral Home.
Randy was born Apr. 19, 1955, in Waco, Texas, to H.C. and Irma Thetford Smith. He married Christina Cotten Nov. 15, 1975. Randy was a 1973 graduate of Granbury High School. He was co-owner of H.C. Smith, Inc., a concrete construction company. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.
Randy, better known as “Big Daddy”, leaves behind two granddaughters and one on the way. Even though his time with them was short, the memory of his love for them will last a life time. He was preceded in death by his parents, H.C. and Irma Smith.
Survivors: Wife, Christina Smith; son, Chance Smith and wife, Melissa; daughter, Miranda Smith; daughter-in-law, Jolie Smith; granddaughters, Madalynn Smith, Cambrie Smith; sisters, Loretta Ansley and husband, Carl, Patricia Robinson and husband, Johnny; brother, Michael Smith; sister-in-law, Candee Hobbs; brother-in-law, David Cotton; mother and father-in-law, Joan and Fred Benson; numerous nieces and nephews.
