Randy Tarkington

June 21, 1928 - June 7, 2012

Randy Tarkington, devoted husband and loving father and grandfather, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012.

Service: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Indian Oaks Primitive Baptist Church, 3229 Shawnee Trail, Lake Worth. Interment: 1:30 p.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Randy was born June 21, 1928. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1948 to 1952. He retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons as a business manager in Fort Worth in 1983.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.

Randy is survived by his wife of 62 years, June Tarkington; sons, Randy Lee Tarkington and Terry Tarkington and his wife, Ann; daughter, Karen Curran and her husband, Brett; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Monteen Clements, Joyce McCoy and Lois Nash.
