TOLAR — Raymond Everett Bickle, 87, passed away Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015, in Granbury.
Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Tolar Church of Christ. Interment: Thorp Spring Cemetery.
Raymond was born May 13, 1927, in Hood County to Charles Preston and Augusta Skaggs Bickle. He married Betty Mercer in 1948 in Granbury. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a tool pusher in the oil fields. He was a member of the Tolar Church of Christ. Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers and one sister.
Survivors: Wife, Betty Bickle of Tolar; daughter, Barbara Gossage and husband, Jay, of Tolar; grandchildren, Alisa Gossage, Jay Gossage II and wife, Julie, Raymond Gossage; great grandchildren, Issac Gossage, Shelby Gossage, Brooke Gossage, Paige Gossage, Nolan Gossage; and several nieces and nephews.
