GRANBURY — Rev. Frankie Harris, 85, passed away Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014, in Granbury.
Funeral: 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10, 2014, at Lake Granbury Christian Temple. Burial: Granbury Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Wiley Funeral Home.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lake Granbury Christian Temple.
Frankie was born Mar. 17, 1929, in Granbury, to Frank Tom Harris and Rosa Lee Williams Harris. He married Tink Campbell and on July 27th they celebrated 68 years of marriage. They donated the property and founded Lake Granbury Christian Temple where he served as minister for 28 years. Rev. Harris touched many lives while serving others. He enjoyed good times and loved people. Frankie cherished his family and was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, motorcycles, airplanes and had an adventurous spirit. He lived a full life serving his Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and a brother.
Survivors: Wife, Tink Harris of Granbury; children, Johnny Harris and wife, Pam, of Granbury, Toni Harris of Granbury, Kim Harris of West Palm Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren, eight great grandsons; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
