Reynold Pulsipher, age 67, of Walnut Springs, Texas passed away on Wednesday February 19, 2020. Graveside Service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday February 26, 2020, DFW National Cemetery; Visitation: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday February 25, 2020, Wiley Funeral Home, Glen Rose, Texas.
Reynold was born on January 8, 1953 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Marcus and Irene Pulsipher. He loved spoiling his grand-kids, loved going to see his grand-kids in any sports, plays, or competitions to show them support. He also enjoyed going to casinos, watching football games, driving his truck and traveling everywhere.
Reynold loved watching the weather channel and calling his children to let them know what the weather will be for them. His daughter Jenney nicked named him TWRC (The Weather Rey Channel). If he needed gas he would drive 1hr to Fort Worth to the Naval Base to get his 5 cent discount on gas, which is out of his way, and would stop by to see his daughter Jenney whom lives in Fort Worth to take her to lunch, which really was reason to go get gas.
He enjoyed teaching his skills in truck driving, especially to his ex-son-in-law Ivan Loular. Which in return created a strong bond between the two. Reynold retired 20+ years from the United States Army and
retired 20 years from truck driving. Reynold was preceded in death by his wife: Venessa Pulsipher; father: Marcus Pulsipher; mother: Irene Pulsipher-Wright; son-in-law: Barry King; grand-daughter: Jenney Marie Pulsipher; and 4 brothers: Byron, Marcus, Dale, Steven.
Reynold is survived by his children: Joey Pulsipher and wife Lena, Jenney Loular, Reynold R Pulsipher; step-daughter: Crystel King; four step-children: Linda, Sean, Candy, James; 15 grandchildren; 6 great- grand-children; siblings: 3 sisters & 1 brother.
