When we were studying nursing at Swedish Covenant Hospital in Chicago in the late 50s, Rhoda and I wore matching glasses. They were the cats eye style and had tiny "gems" in the corners. This confused our patients time after time. I would walk into a room and the patient would say, "where's the water?" But it was Rhoda who had gone to get a pitcher of fresh water. We didn't look alike, of course, so it was the glasses that people noticed. This is just a funny memory that has stuck with me for over 55 years. At God comfort Rhoda's family.
