We are devastated and so sorry for the loss of Richard who was a wonderful and loving husband to Jovita, and our dear friend for over 30 years. Jovita & I met as coworkers at the former Carswell Air Force Base and had an immediate connection and friendship. It wasn't long before our husbands were included in our "circle", which then led to the four of us becoming lifelong friends. Now our hearts are broken with the passing of Richard. He was not only a loving husband, he was an honorable man with a generous and giving heart who took care of neighbors as well as friends and family. Over the years we celebrated special occasions, hung out together, and of course shared our love of the Cowboys! We had an unbreakable bond of love and friendship. We are thankful to have so many wonderful memories that will live in our hearts forever. Richard was an angel on earth and we know he is now an angel in heaven. Our hearts are full of sorrow at his passing but know God has a special place reserved for him. We will miss you Richard and so grateful for having you in our lives sweet friend.

Richard joined Jovita everyday for lunch at the Naval base. I worked with Jovita. I am so glad I to know them both. He was a patient, devoted husband to Jovita. Much love to Jovita and all of his family. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

I will cherish the love I witness between Richard and his wife Jovita. Richard was a hard working, very outgoing, and a good hearted man. I am forever grateful for those times we spent together. Especially inviting me to your family events, Thanksgiving Days, and watching your beloved Cowboys games. May you rest in peace.

May you rest in the arms of our Almighty Father and know Tia is in good hands by the people who love her.

Richard was such a light to everyone he met. So kind and loved everyone well. He made the best pineapple upside down cake. It put a smile on everyone’s face at our Public Work’s Christmas Party. Celebrating your life and lifting up the family in prayer. I love you Mrs. Jovita! Tu Amiga, Tiffaney
