Rita Ballard

Date of Death: March 3, 2022

Rita Ballard, 66, went to be with God on March 3, 2022. She was an extraordinary woman and an amazing mother.  Rita loved with her whole heart and was devoted to her family. She welcomed everyone with open arms. People gravitated to her heart and caring nature. Rita loved to laugh, and her smile was infectious. She was always willing to be goofy and silly with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Rita was “Best Friend” to many.

 

She was preceded in death by her mother Rozanne Hassler, her parents Mary and Ray Hassler, and great-granddaughter Mackensie Daniell. Rita is survived by her husband David Ballard; daughter Lisa Echols; son Joseph Ballard; sister Laurie Pane; sister Jan Oliverie, brother Joe Hassler; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and many others who loved her.

 

We will be having a Remembrance Celebration on Monday, March 7,2022 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Wiley’s Funeral Home, 400 E US Hwy 377, Granbury, TX, 76048.

I am so glad I got to speak with Rita while she was in the hospital. We had a good talk, I wish I could have kept my promise and went to see her. We were gonna go to the lake and just visit. I will always remember her helping me and loving me and she will be missed and loved as long as I take break. Be with or LORD AND SAVOR JESUS CHRIST MY YOUR WINGS SOAR.
