GRANBURY — Robert B. Austin, 82, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014, in Granbury.
Memorial service: 10:00 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29, 2014, at Granbury First United Methodist Church.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Granbury First United Methodist Church, general fund.
Robert was born Sept. 27, 1932, in Cane Hill, Ark., to Odas Carl Austin and Clifford Vincent Elroy Austin. He was raised in Texas and graduated in 1950 as the Valedictorian of Arlington Heights High School. He married Dera Anne Keisel, Apr. 18, 1958, in Arlington, Texas. Robert served as an engineer in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Bob’s personal career spanned over 6 decades and geographically covered North and South America, Australia, Europe, Israel, Korea and Japan. His hobbies included artwork, landscaping, designing and building home improvement projects. He was a member of Granbury First United Methodist Church.
Survivors: Wife, Dera Anne Austin; a niece and several nephews.
