Robert H. “Bob” Graves went to be with the Lord Thursday June 23, 2016.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 27, in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Azleland Memorial Park. The family will be present to receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Bob was born February 9, 1931, to Margaret and Charles Graves in Fairfield, Alabama. He was a retired Air Force senior master sergeant and a civil service employee until 1979.

Bob loved his family and was an example of God’s love by his kindness and generosity to friend and stranger.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Martha; children, Sharon Kirk and husband, Jim, Susan Thompson and husband, David, Robert Larry Graves and wife, Georginna, Carol Ortiz and husband, Steve, and Becky Quayle and husband, David; sisters, Wanda Henry, Nell Coleman and Shirley Childress. He was much loved by his 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
