Robert Brodie

Robert Brodie passed away on March 15, 2022 at the age of 73. After several months of declining health Robert passed away with family by his side.

Robert was born April 23, 1948, to father James Brodie and Violet Brodie. He was raised in Ventura CA with 2 brothers Ed and Joe as well as 2 sisters Norma and Delores.

After High School he soon started working for Southern Pacific Rail Road as a Train Dispatcher. His work ethic and desire to provide for his family led him to a career in sales where he found great opportunity and success. During his working career Robert had many opportunities to travel golf and fish. What made him the most happy and proud however was to spend time with his two sons and their families. These times were filled with ever lasting memories of boating on Lake Shasta listening to his favorite country music, laughing and telling stories of times gone by

During his life Robert lived in California, Texas and Georgia. During his travels his quick wit, and sense of humor earned him great and valued friendships wherever he went. That was no different when he finally decided to move back to Texas in 2015

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and his sisters Norma and Delores. He is survived by his brothers Ed Brodie and Joe Brodie; children Stephen Brodie and Jonathan Brodie; grandchildren Maggie Brodie Gerrit Brodie, Tyler Brodie and Sheldon Brodie

Roberts passing will leave a hole in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date to friends and family.
