Robert Tippett, 59, passed away Friday, Sept. 1, 2017 in Granbury. Service: 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017 at Wiley Funeral Home. Interment: Granbury Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Robert was born March 9, 1958 in Fort Worth to Robert Ross and Betty Jo McQueen Tippett. He graduated from Granbury High School in 1976 and was a master plumber. He enjoyed antiquing, clock repair and listening to varied genres of music. Robert loved his dogs and traveling to Colorado and Washington. He was devoted to his family, was strong and organized, had hard work ethics and was very meticulous. He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors: Partner, Patrick Barger; Sons, Sean and wife, Amy Tippett and Justin and wife, Oanh Tippett; grandchildren, Londyn Tippett, Hannah Tippett, Brendan Tippett, Fayeth Tippett, Gavin Tippett and Emily Tippett; mother, Betty J. Tippett; sister, Debra Lawrence and her daughter, Stacy Dredge and husband, Simon and their children, Ashley and Hailey; and his dog, Ike.
