GRANBURY — Robert Wayne Whitehouse, 79, of Granbury passed away September 29, 2012.
Memorial service: A memorial service will be held at First Christian Church, Granbury, on Friday, October 5th at 1:00 p.m.
Bob was born August 6, 1933 in Saugus, Mass., son of John Whitehouse and Roberta Brock Whitehouse. He was on submarines in the U.S. Navy for 11 years. While in the Navy his served on the USS Triton as it took the world’s first underwater circumnavigation. After the navy he worked a numerous nuclear power plants across the country and in Canada. He was a member of the First Christian Church.
Survivors: He is survived by Doris, his wife of 54 years and his daughters Mary Letterman (Dave) and Bonnie Flint. Grandchildren include Rachel Letterman, Ashley Whitehouse (James), Tiffany Whitehouse, Megan Flint, McKenzie Flint, Matthew Flint and John Flint. His great grandchildren are Tristan and Aubriella Kirkland. He is also survived by his sister, Francene Whitehouse.
