To my loving Grandma, Her strength, fortitude, and resolve even in times of testing and trial were a testament to her faith in Jesus. She had a big heart for her family and was selfless when it came to sacrifices that needed to be made for her family's good. This was one of her greatest strengths--her heart. Her homemaking skills were unmatched. She could preserve, bake, sew, cook and clean like nobody's business. If there was a prize to be had in these skills, she would have won a gold metal. As a child, I remember her delicious plum jam from the plum trees that grew in the backyard, homemade peach ice cream from fresh peaches, mouth-watering potato salad, her excellent quilt-making, it was a dream, like something out of a Better Homes & Garden magazine.. but that was my grandma. Even as her arthritis got almost unbearable for her, she was still making quilts.. family heirlooms for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. These are treasures that we will hold dear for many generations should the Lord tarry. Her heart was big and she will never be forgotten here, and we will see her again in glory forever. We love you Grandma, you hold a special place in our hearts.

We will miss our loving grandma and great grandma. She was always so funny, kind, and caring. She was sacrificial with her time and gave whatever she could to those in need. We will treasure the times we played cards and dominoes with her and grandpa. Her wonderful potato salad and many desserts were always a favorite. One of Matt’s favorite memories was the time in the 80s when he spent a week with grandma and grandpa at their house. He spent the week helping around the house, playing, making ice cream, drinking Diet Pepsi (they were always stocked up), and hunting for a deal at various Montgomery Wards with Grandpa. Grandma always made things fun and enjoyable. Most importantly, her faith in God was unshakable; many generations have been and will continue to be blessed because of it. Thanks Grandma for all the wonderful memories and times we had together as a family for so many years.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I know Roberta, my second Mom, had a wonderful life. I know because I was part of that life from the time I was in Jr. High School. They always treated me like I was one of theirs. Heaven is lucky to get an Angel like her and I know she'll be baking those wonderful pies that I now make every holiday. My love, Carlene
