Many thoughts and prayers go out to your entire family. Roger was a super nice gentleman who was always willing to visit with you, genuinely nice and caring. He certainly cared about his job and doing a great one at that, for us sales people. He was Bates through and through, and so am I. God bless and RIP Mr. Bruce, he will be missed...keep on trucking brother!

There’s much more to Rogers life then the last 2.5 years he raised 3 other children and several grandchildren not mentioned in his obituary, with his late wife Sue Bruce married for over 31 years he helped her raise Robert Parris, Angie Cambell and Shane Parris he was “Papa” to Nicole,Brooke, Ryan, Jamie and Alexis. Roger always had a smile on his face and loved to stay busy. Out of respect I wanted to acknowledge his life with Sue and the life he helped build with his step children.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.
