GLEN ROSE, TEXAS – Roland McGirt II died on Feb. 9, 2015, at Hughley Hospital due to a long illness. He was born on Oct. 14, 1977, in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
Funeral: 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015, at Sand Creek Indian Church in Wewoka, Okla. Burial: McGirt Cemetery in Sasakwa, Okla.

Survivors: Parents, Roland and Cinda McGirt; his sister, Shannon Cully; and two brothers, Jonathan McGirt and James McGirt, all of Glen Rose; three nieces, Ambrey Cully of Houston, Darrian Harjo and Jana Malone of Wewoka, Oklahoma; three nephews, Colton Cully of Norman, Oklahoma, David Malone and Ramrodd McGirt of Glen Rose; one great-nephew, Aden Cully of Glen Rose; two aunts, Patricia Morgal and Teresa McGirt of Wewoka, Oklahoma; uncles, Frank West; Ambrose Cully, Jimmy Cully and Ben Emarthle, all of Oklahoma; best friend, Courtney Lacik; and a host of cousins and friends.
