GRANBURY — Big Ron Gallineau, 71, parked his rig for the last time Friday, February 5, 2016 in Granbury. Gathering: Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Wiley Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, please give to Wounded Warrior Foundation.
Ron was born April 23, 1944 in Sacramento, CA to George and Jean Gallineau. He served with the U.S. Marines in Vietnam. He enjoyed welding and boating. Ron was a continental truck driver. He could tell you how many miles he had driven and the number was in the millions; which made his accident free status all the more impressive. Together with friends, Ron was restoring a 1940 Ford. It was just completed before Ron passed. He is preceded in death by his parents and his best friends Bill Hill and Dave Hopkins.
Survivors: wife of 46 years Margaret Gallineau of Citrus Heights, CA; daughter Carrie (Michael) Bishop of Arlington, WA, and their children Joshua (Cheyenne) Bishop, Justin (Taylor) Bishop, Jeremy Bishop, Chandler Bishop; son Troy Douglas Gallineau of Citrus Heights, CA; son Lawrence Douglas (Tammy) Crabtree of Mt. Vernon, MO and their extended family Bridget Morgan, Chyanne Lopez, Dakota Morgan and Emillio Morgan; sister Georgene (Frank Muscarella) Gallineau Craven; niece Cheryl (Vern) Hixson; nephews Ricky (Stacy) Cordova, and Stefen (Wendy) Cordova.
