Just learned about this aweful news. Captain Ron Webb was at the top of my list of my favorite guys to fly with when I was a copilot. A great pilot, easy going, with a fantastic sense of humor. It would be impossible for anyone not to love this guy when you met him. I had the chance to fly with Mari and Ron on the same flight once. What a blast. I wish I had been able to hang out with him outside of work. To Ron's friends and loved ones goes my deepest sympathy. See ya on the other side Ron and thanks so much for the great memories and for all of your kindness. -Rick Theilman

Mari...I had lunch with a friend yesterday who informed me of Ron's passing. I am truly sorry for your loss. Ron had a big heart, a gentle spirit and an awesome sense of humor. I mean, who else played the guitar upside down and backwards like he did! I also read here that his parents passed away. i can only imagine how your life has been turned upside down. You and the Webb family will be in my prayers. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you need someone to talk to or help with anything!

Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of earth And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings; Sunward I’ve climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth Of sun-split clouds – and done a hundred things You have not dreamed of – wheeled and soared and swung High in the sunlit silence. Hov’ring there, I’ve chased the shouting wind along, and flung My eager craft through footless halls of air. Up, up the long, delirious, burning blue I’ve topped the wind-swept heights with easy grace Where never lark, or even eagle flew - And, while with silent lifting mind I’ve trod The high untrespassed sanctity of space, Put out my hand and touched the face of God. Thank you for your years of contribution to the aviation community. Love & Prayers to your family. Our hearts are heavy.
