Rosemary Jeanette Antosh

Rosemary Jeanette McDonell Antosh, 82, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022, in Granbury, Texas. She was born March 28, 1940, the first of eight children, to Enos Lake “Pee Wee” and Ruth Lee Pope McDonell. She was a loving and generous big sister to all her siblings.

Rosie loved animals, an avid reader, loved to knit and sew and work in the flower beds in her yard. She worked as an RN for over 40 years and was happy doing so.

Rosie married the love of her life, Jim Antosh, on the 4^th of July weekend in 1995. They were pretty much inseparable. They did everything together. They made many happy memories traveling in their RV.

Rosie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, John Franklin, Gary, Jimmy and Rick McDonell and sister Terry Gray; nephew, Jeff Thompson, and great niece, ReLynne Wilson.

Rosie leaves behind to cherish her memory, her beloved husband Jim Antosh; sons, Michael Antosh and wife Erin, James Antosh; grandchildren, Joseph, and Sarah; brother, Greg McDonell and wife Celeste, sister, Anna Thompson and husband Harry; and many loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Rosary and Visitation will be held at 5-7pm, Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury, Texas. 

Services at 11am, Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Saint Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, interment at Holly Hills Memorial Park.
