Roy Lynn Chandler, age 76 was born in Stephenville, Texas on September 30^th, 1943. He went home to heaven on July 27^th 2020. Roy grew up in Lipan, Texas where he met and married his bride, JoAnn, in 1962. Roy and JoAnn raised their family in Kennedale, Texas until they retired to Lake Granbury in 2000. Roy believed in faith, family and fishing, not in any particular order. Roy devoted his life to his family. From watching ball games, judging Christmas cookies and just generally being there for anybody in need. Roy loved big! Friends and family all knew the special place they had in his heart. Roy was preceded in death by his parents Lecil and Lucille Chandler, and a great-granddaughter Adyson Miller. He is survived by his loving wife JoAnn Chandler, daughter and son-in-law JoLynn and Keith Johnson, son and daughter-in-law Doug and Karman Chandler. Five grandkids Chad Johnson and wife Sadie, Heather Chandler and husband Peter, Kaylan Branson and husband Kyle, Logan Ashlock and husband Austin, and Reagan Chandler. Six great-grandkids Lecil and Hayes Johnson, Emma and Xander Mouzakis, and Marlie and Hallie Branson along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
