Roy G. “Cricket” Miller, 62, of Glen Rose, Texas passed away early on Wednesday October 26, 2022, at his home.
A memorial gathering will begin at 1:00 p.m., Sunday, October 30, 2022, at the Glen Rose Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, 504 Holden Street in Glen Rose. A memorial service celebrating his life will follow at 2 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home. Burial will be private at a later date.
Cricket was born on September 4, 1960, in Escondido, California to Orville and Pat Miller. He was a life-time union pipefitter, and he loved his work. Cricket enjoyed hunting and traveling particularly on his Harley. He “never met a stranger” and always “had a smile” on his face. Additionally, Cricket will affectionately be remembered for his optimistic attitude toward life and for his many friendships.
Cricket is survived by his mother, Pat Miller; his special friend, LeAnne Clanton; his good friends, Curtis and Mellissia Rose; and by a host of additional friends and family.
Cricket was preceded in death by his father, Orville Miller and by his brother, Russell Ray Miller.
