Rozelle Cavin, 96, passed away Friday, October 31, 2014 at her home in Granbury, TX.
Funeral service: Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014 in Martin’s Funeral Home Chapel
Visitation: 6 – 8 p.m., Monday, Nov. 3, 2014 at the funeral home
Interment: Holly Hills Memorial Park
Rozelle was born August 1, 1918 in Texas near Truce, TX. She married Delmer L. Cavin on May 8th 1943 and had one son, Lloyd L. Cavin born March 23, 1955.
She passed away at her home in Granbury which is where she wanted to be. She was 96 years old at the time of her passing. She lived alone which is also the way she wanted it, with a little help from Home health care, Meals on Wheels and her son and numerous friends.
She was mainly a housewife although she worked from time to time as a dairy farmer, hair dresser, real estate sales person, embroidery paint sales, shoe sales person, flea market sales and the free sample lady at various grocery stores.
She was an avid bowler for as long as she was able, she loved crafts such as ceramics, painting and sewing. She also loved to play bingo, card games, dominoes and slot machines. She loved to fish and hardly, if ever, missed a Texas Ranger baseball game.
She was active in Eastern Star and she enjoyed many local woman’s organizations.
She was also a dog lover and dearly missed her two babies, Gigi and Tootie.

Survivors: son, Lloyd L. Cavin and wife, Terri; grandchildren, April Hajicek, Chris Fulton, Ricci Cavin and David Cavin; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Kaylen, Elizabeth and Zoie.
