Allen and Betty Moody left a message on May 29, 2012:
Weldon was a great brother and friend. We shared many enjoyable times watching sports, talking about the Rangers, and going to scout out teams together. I will surely miss him but, know, he is in a better place.
Jane E. Privitt left a message on May 29, 2012:
Weldon Moody was a great uncle and a great man. I will always think of him as "Uncle Soapy", and remember him always calling me Janie Bird, although not sure why. I remember when they moved from Fort Worth to Acton because I had just gotten my driver's license and got to drive the car by myself between their old house and new house when they moved. I will miss his smiling face at our reunions. Love to all, Jane
Scott (Bobby) Nance left a message on May 30, 2012:
Coach Moody taught fundamentals and discipline. He was instrumental in starting a little league in Kyle. After departing to Granbury, his previous coaching of Kyle players paid off in the next few years with five consecutive trips to the UIL State Tournament. In December 2010, he and Winta Beth visited with many old friends and students in Kyle, Tx. Fond memories of a great husband, coach and friend. He will be greatly missed by those of us who had the good fortune to know him.
