Ruth Perkins, 91, of Granbury, Texas passed away on Friday, February 8, 2019.

Memorial service: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 16, 2019 in The Great Room at Quail Park Assisted Living, Granbury, Texas.

Ruth was born in Celina, Texas on July 17, 1927. She was raised by Robert and Eloise Caldwell Gray. She married Fred Perkins in February 1946 in San Antonio, Texas. They were married for 73 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Abilene, Texas and worked in church ministries. Ruth was a master gardener and liked to can vegetables. She enjoyed line dancing, working with stained glass, painting, quilting and sewing. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors: Husband Fred Perkins; son: Tom Perkins and wife Mary;
grandson Brian Perkins and wife Kathryn; granddaughter: Leah Pollock; great grandsons: Logan Pollock and Briley Perkins; great granddaughters: Kimberly Perkins and Brooklyn Perkins.
