Ruth I. Allcon

Ruth I. Allcon, 86, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2015.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Baptist Church, 1501 Jim Wright Freeway. Interment will be in Azleland Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Biggers Funeral Home.

Ruth was born July 3, 1929, in Maplewood, Missouri, and had been an area resident since 1947. She worked for Southwestern Bell and later for Texas Electric Service Co. in the payroll department. She was a former member of the Lake Worth Baptist Church and currently a member of Grace Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, C.C. Allcon, on June 14, 2014.

She is survived by her son, Cliff Allcon and wife, Elizabeth, of Benbrook; sisters, Dorothy Word, Doris Simpson and Virginia “Ginger” Reynolds; granddaughters, Laura Kathleen Allcon and Hannah LeeAnn Allcon.
