GRANBURY — Sadie Marie Meek, 94, passed away Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011 in Granbury. Service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Shannon Rose Hill Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Sadie was born June 11, 1917 in Emporia, Kan. to George Blane and Laura Bell Henwood Fenton. She had worked at Eckerd Drug Store for 20 years and loved to work in her garden. She was a Baptist and had lived in Granbury since 1981.
Survivors: Son, T. Rufner of Granbury; granddaughter, Deborah Rufner of Granbury; sister, Evelyn Dickerson of Fort Worth; niece, Shirley Durant of Granbury; and great niece, Laura Durant of Granbury.
