Sally L Mullenix of Granbury, Texas, passed away November 3, 2021 with her family by her side.

 

Sally was born in Angelica, New York in 1930, the only child of Nelson and Faith Lyon. Following high school, Sally attended Fredonia College before becoming a stewardess with Ozark Airlines where she met and married Ulen Mullenix in 1957. Following many years in Kentucky, they moved to Fort Worth and most recently to Granbury, Texas.

 

During her 35-year career with American Airlines, Sally held multiple positions with Executive Women International and traveled the world with Ulen. After retirement, their travels continued for many years in their motorhome throughout the United States and Canada.

 

Sally was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her husband Ulen, her daughter Michele (Rick) Wilkerson, her grandchildren, Kathryn Wilkerson (Desmond Foster), Austin Wilkerson (Nicole Deveraux), great-grandson Logan and step-great-grand-daughter Audrey.

 

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Episcopal Church Granbury, 4530 Acton Hwy, Granbury, TX 76049, or a charity of choice.
