WALNUT SPRINGS — Sam Brown Mills, 49, passed away Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014, in Glen Rose.
Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014, at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Chalk Mountain Cemetery in Erath County, Texas. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Sam was born Oct. 22, 1965, in Fort Worth, to Charles David Brown and Imogene Ward Brown. She lived in Glen Rose all of her life, attended Glen Rose schools and was a member of First Assembly of God in Glen Rose. Sam had 3 wonderful boys that gave her 7 grandbabies that meant the world to her. She had a love for gardening that she has passed on to her sons. Sam was blessed with an artistic soul that showed in everything she did. She was preceded in death by her mother, Imogene Brown, brother, Danny Ray Brown and sister, Sherry Kay Brown.
Survivors: Father, Charles D. Brown; sister, Donna Merrill and husband, Barry, of Glen Rose; sons, Aric T. Mills and wife, Autumn of Colorado Springs, Colo., Cory R. Mills and fiance’ Brittany Stratton of Glen Rose, Owen T. Mills of Glen Rose; grandchildren, Arica Rose Mills, Kelty Aine Mills, Kaila Rae Mills, Aaron Joseph Mills, Carson Lee Mills, Brynlee Shay Mills, Wyatt David Stratten.
