Sam's passing leaves a void in my heart. Many a golf games were played at Pecan Plantation and beyond. So many memories, but one stands out for me of he and Gene on their "electric scooters" when he and Marylyn visited us here in Arizona a few years back...so many laughs!

When we moved to Pecan I was invited to play some golf in SAMs group. He was the life of the group. The best of the best always routing for you, even when he couldn’t play he would go along and cheer for everyones shots. We always enjoyed Sam & Marilyn many years on Wednesday night dinners. He will be missed by his many friends. He knew everyone and everyone knew Sam.

I remember how welcoming and friendly Sam and Marylyn were when we moved to Pecan. He was a great neighbor, we enjoyed many late afternoons on our patios for wine time. Sam invited me to join his Golf group and his poker group. I missed not being able to visit him these last several months. He was a wonderful man and I was blessed to have him as a dear friend. I will miss him. My condolences to the family.
