Sandy Ellisor Dawson. 24 October 1962 - 16 October 2020. I was so happy for David to marry such a gorgeous gal which he met somewhere around Willis, Texas. Turns out that her outward beauty was not her best attribute. Sandy was kind, caring, understanding, thoughtful, and a real heart-felt woman on a mission. Two beautiful daughters, a husband and a career. And, she put up with Davids friends. She treated us like royalty. Whether we were visiting or they were, the times went by so happy and smooth. I have nothing but respect for her accomplishments and the way she carried herself. David was my best man at our wedding, Sandy took charge to make sure we were steered in the right direction. My heart goes out to Nichole, Lauren, David and Family members. We will all miss this wonderful lady. My wife and I have just lost three very dear friends in eighteen days. If you know Sandy’s heart, you know Ray and you know John. I think the Good Lord is collecting angels.

My memories of Sandy will keep her forever close in my heart. Sandy was a beautiful person so kind and loving. I will always think of how Sandy lived her life with such kindness in her heart. When we leave this earth the love that we have given and received remains behind to light the lives of those we touched.....each memory I have of my beloved niece will be a bright light in my life. Sandy leaves behind a beautiful bouquet or memories for family and friends. Heaven gained a beautiful angel. We will miss Sandy so much but our comfort will come from having these memories and knowing that Sandy is now in no pain and feeling peaceful. Praying for God to wrap His arms around each of you to comfort you, blessing you with your cherished memories of Sandy and give you strength as you adjust to your loss. Sending love and hugs to David, Nichole & family, Lauren, Charlie and LaVerne. Love you all, Aunt Linda

Sandy will always be in my heart. I cannot remember when she wasn’t a part of my life. All through school, band, camps, Mexico trips, beach trips, and slumber parties... we lived it all and I will forever hold those amazing memories. Being able to share in the last few years of her life was extra special. Being there as a sister/friend, just holding her hand and praying as we cried out for strength. I miss her giggle, smile, sweet friendship, and her big beautiful brown eyes. We always joked about trading ours. Love you Sandy. See you again someday.
