Sang “Jeannie” Morales, 77, passed away Friday, December 2, 2016.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, December 6, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church. Burial will be at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, December 5, at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or a hospice of choice.
Jeannie was born in Korea on December 1, 1939, and moved to the United States in 1964. She was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed time in a casino and playing bingo with her extended bingo family. She lived life to the fullest and loved spending time with her family. She had a sharp wit and great sense of humor. She was able to make anyone laugh, and everyone was considered a friend.
Jeannie is preceded in death by her husband, Feliciano “Phil” Morales; and son-in-law, Neil Scarpelli.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to family, friends, and Kindred Hospice for their support in her final days.
Survivors include her son, Daniel Morales and wife, Patricia; daughter, Joann Scarpelli; grandsons, Michael Hacker and Chris Scarpelli; and great-grandsons, Ethan, Aiden, and Jason Hacker.
