A lifelong resident of the DFW area, Sarah graduated from Richland High School in 2004 with honors and received her Respiratory Therapist certification from Tarrant County Community College. Her true passion was working in the service industry. Sarah never met a stranger and loved everyone. Her vibrant personality enabled her to work many years at DFW International Airport and most recently in the West 7th area. Sarah had an amazing gift to love everyone and everything, including the homeless, which she provided many meals to. She had a big heart and was always willing to provide shelter and a listening ear to those in need. She loved her big dog, Bruce, that she rescued. Sarah found great solace in cooking, biking, music, dancing and enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends as well as attending live music events. Her favorite expeditions were to Thailand and backpacking across Europe.
Sarah was preceded in death by her father, Scott Golden, and the first love of her life, Scooby – a pitbull rescue, who changed the whole family’s perception of pitbulls. He was an amazing dog and she loved him with her whole heart. We know that they are reunited and loving every minute together.
Sarah is survived by her parents, Dave and Karen of Saginaw; her siblings, Stephanie (Bo), Dustin (Kristen), Nathan, Sharon (Clay) and Julie (Curtis); the love her life, her big dog, Bruce; nieces, Lacey(Sean), Ally, Anna (Cole); nephews, Robert (Shawnnon), Fletcher, Dylan, Tyler and Cray (Megan); great-nephews, Samuel, Adam; great-niece Hensleigh; and many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
