GLEN ROSE — Scott Cartwright, 54, died suddenly of injuries sustained in a vehicle accident Dec. 30, 2014 in Glen Rose, TX.
Service: 1 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Glen Rose. Interment: 4 p.m. Friday in Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Glen Rose. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cal Farley’s Boys and Girls Ranch, P.O. Born to Marvin and Jimmie Cartwright on Aug. 13, 1960, Scott was raised in Joshua, TX where he graduated high school in 1978.
He was a member of the Glen Rose Rodeo Association, a Contract Administrator for Basden Steel for nine years and a member of First Baptist Church in Glen Rose, a church he built while owner of Cartwright Construction Company.
Scott loved his family, hunting, rodeos and the western life style. He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jimmie Cartwright and maternal grandmother, Ella Ledford.
