Scott “Scottie” Dwight Wheeler, age 59, passed away May 30, 2022 in Carrollton, Texas.
Service: 3:00 pm, Saturday, June 4, 2022 in Biggers Funeral Chapel, 6100 Azle Ave., Lake Worth, Texas 76135.
Visitation: 1:00 to 3:00 pm, Saturday, June 4, 2022 prior to the Service.
Memorials: In Lieu of flowers, the family kindly request donations be made to the Shriners in Scottie’s name.
Scottie was born November 19, 1962 in Sierra Vista, Arizona to Duane Eugene and Nancy Mamie (Flyte) Wheeler.
He attended Plano High School and after graduation he went to UT at Dallas, then was a Program Manager for a Computer Company. He married the love of his life Summer Olivia Johnnene and he had one stepson, Austin Yochum.
Scottie was a big outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and camp as well as guns, cars and playing poker. His biggest love of all was his family. Scottie was the best chef and enjoyed cooking and watching cooking shows. He had many hobbies, and one was collecting coins. His big personality will be missed by his family and all those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Duane Eugene Wheeler.
Scottie is survived by his wife, Summer Wheeler; his stepson, Austin Yochum and his wife, DeAnna; grandchildren, Autumn Yochum, Amelia Yochum, Eli Miller and Madison Miller; his mother, Nancy Mamie (Flyte) Wheeler; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Delford and Mary Johnnene; brother, Steven Wheeler and his wife, Lisa; niece, Sara Wheeler; numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-on-law, uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.
