Sharon Lynn Aston Stewart, 55, was born on December 31, 1961, and passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on Wednesday, December 13, 2017. Sharon was born in Fort Worth to Weldon Aston and Nona Moore. She attended Southwest High School and The University of Texas at Austin and was a proud member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority. Sharon was a CPA in Dallas. She was involved with the Texas Exes Dallas Legacy Group and volunteer activities in Addison and Farmers Branch. The Texas Rangers have lost a devoted fan.
Sharon was preceded in death by her father Weldon. She is survived by her loving husband, Robert (Bob) Stewart, her mother, Nona Moore (Harold) of Arlington and brother Jeff Aston (Kendra) of Fort Worth. In addition she was loved by Bob’s children and grandchildren.
Sharon’s life was a gift to her family and friends. Special thanks go to her cousin Mark Aston and his wife Karen, her friend Nancy Enright, and many caring friends for their love and support.
A private burial service will be held in Tolar, Texas where many Aston family members have been laid to rest. A memorial service celebrating Sharon’s life will take place on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 6:00pm in the Brookhaven Country Club Ballroom, Farmers Branch. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Sharon Aston Stewart to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or the Gamma Phi Beta Foundation.
