Sharon Renee Shabander

Sharon Renee Shabander, 44, a TCU graduate and accounting firm CFO, passed away Friday, January 18, 2013, at her home in Oxford, Michigan.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, January 25, at Lighthouse Fellowship Church, 7200 Robertson Road near Eagle Mountain Lake. Interment will be at Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Biggers Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Sharon’s memory to Lighthouse Fellowship or TAP at fvleiden.org.

Sharon was born July 9, 1968, in Waverly, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Don and Gabriele St. John of Lake Worth and the wife of Sam Shabander.

Sharon, you leave behind your love, strength, and amazing spirit. You will forever live in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Coy and Ione St. John, and Adrian Bargeron; and Uncle Bob St. John.

She is survived by her husband, Sam Shabander; son, Christopher Walker; daughters, Faith Walker, Rachel Smith and husband, Jesse, Katy and Heather Shabander; grandson, Logan Smith; parents, Don and Gabriele St. John; grandparents, R.W. and Frieda Williams; sisters, Sheila St. John, Karin Essig and husband, Jeffery; brother, Kevin St. John and wife, Monica; sisters-in-law, Lorretta Zelenak and Lisa Malpede; and nephews and nieces, Patrick, Amber, Alex, Nick, Loran, Jace, Aiden, Mitch and Alicia.
