Sharon Rentz Joyner went to be with her Lord on Friday, July 18, 2014.

Family and friends are welcome to celebrate her life at 7 p.m. Thursday at Lakeview Fellowship, 9940 Morris Dido Road, Fort Worth.

Sha-Sha was born in Bainbridge, Georgia, and eventually followed her sweetheart to settle in Texas. She enjoyed cooking and loved to travel.

She was a loving and much-beloved wife to Melvin; mother to Lee, Rebecca, Sarah, Brady, Brandy and Corbin; and grandmother to six grandkids. She leaves them, her parents, three siblings and numerous friends and other family to be with God.

Rentz & Joyner Family, My sincere condolences go out to you in this great loss. Sharon was a fun person to be around. I wasn't around her a lot, but when I was, there was always laughter. I feel I really got to know her best through her sister Leslie, since Leslie and I are such good friends. I remember times when I was with Leslie, Sharon would call on the phone and I would laugh at their conversations. Sharon had a huge heart and always wanted to do for others. She will be missed. May you feel God's comfort during this mourning.
