Sharon Terry Fitzpatrick, 70, of Arlington, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2020. Service: 1:00 PM, Thursday, February 27, 2020, First Baptist Church, Arlington, Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington.

Sharon was born on July 24, 1949 in Fort Worth, Texas to Albert and Joy Terry. She graduated from Tarleton State University with a degree in mathematics. She worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas for 35 years, and rose to become the Head of Group Life Underwriting. After retiring, she received her Master of Liberal Arts Degree from Texas Christian University.

Sharon was a successful single mom and she loved her children dearly. Her four grandchildren were her world as were her beloved pets. She loved traveling and did so extensively. She traveled to all 50 states and too many countries to list. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Joy Terry; grandparents John and Ruby Walton; aunt Johnelle Mixon and many amazing pets.

Sharon is survived by her son, Stephen Fitzpatrick and his wife Beth and their three children, Megan, Sarah and William; her daughter, Angela Moberley and her husband Jeff and their son Chase; and cousin Janet Marek.

Sharon always made you feel special. She brought joy to all that knew her. She always thought of others before herself. What a blessing to have known her. What a blessing to share life and memories with her. We will miss her but she left us with many special memories.
