KELLER, TX—Sheila Dawn English Hutchins, 53, went to be with the Lord, Sunday May 15, 2022 after suffering a heart attack.
Sheila was born on April 23, 1969 in Tulsa Oklahoma, daughter of James Oliver English and Shirley Maxine Ezell English. Sheila was an active member in DECA, FCA and Concert Chorus in East Central High School, graduating in 1987 and earned a Fashion Design & Merchandising degree from Oklahoma State University in 1991.
Following college, Sheila worked for a former Miss America designing clothes in her boutique and modeling. Sheila loved designing clothes, however, would spend her career in direct sales where Sheila really shined. Sheila spent 14 years in Creative Memories earning multiple trips that would include a 7-day Mediterranean cruise from Rome Italy and 7 days in Hawaii among many others. Sheila became a top earner at Cookie Lee whose husband performed our renewal of wedding vows in Hawaii. Sheila would work 4 years for Ruby Ribbon becoming one of their all-time top sellers ($500K in 4 years). Sheila had just become a Foundational Member in Made to Measure and quickly built the largest team and was 30% of their overall direct sales when she passed. Sheila single handedly put her son Aaron through college on her dime.
Sheila was a powerhouse of LIFE and her smile could melt anyone. Sheila’s passion for Jesus and her worshiping was by far the greatest thing to witness next to her angelic voice which turned heads every time she sang. Sheila ministered to countless women including Gateway Students at Gateway Church with countless testimonies of lives she touched. She used her businesses as a ministry to help and love those in need and made thousands of friends who love her. Sheila’s greatest passion next to God was for her family and she loved her son Aaron and husband Chris with all her heart. Sheila adopted all of Aaron’s friends including much of the Timbercreek Varsity Football team and fed them all the time. “Momma-Hutch” has been a household name with all Aaron’s friends as a fantastic cook! In 2019, Sheila coordinated and planned the Timbercreek Football Team’s Senior Trip/Cruise with Aaron and all his friends.
Sheila loved LIFE. She loved Christmas (had 8 trees up this past year), taking pictures, making new friends, decorating, planting flowers, gardening, butterflies, making incredible meals (Food is her love language). Hutchins family dinners were a staple for a long time in our neighborhood, where all came to eat and fellowship.
Hundreds of responses to Chris/Sheila’s Facebook post say the same thing–A very bright light is now burning brighter than ever in Heaven! Sheila’s love has been left sewn into our hearts to carry until we see her again.
Survivors: Son, Aaron Hutchins, husband Chris Hutchins, sister Lori Brown, father James English, step-mother Glenda English, niece Rachel Brown, nephew Issac Brown, brother-in-law’s Jon & Tim Hutchins, sister-in-law Tonya Hutchins.
