Sherrel was born on May 15, 1956 in Stephenville, Texas to A.R. and Shirley Durant. She was a registered nurse who worked in the home health care field. Sherrel was dearly loved by her husband Allen and will be greatly missed until they are joined in heaven. She was preceded in death by her father, A.R. “Gook” Durant.
Sherrel is survived by her husband: Allen Cook of Granbury, children: Tina Patterson, Shirley Patterson, Nolan Patterson, and Kyle Patterson, brother: Terry Durant, mother: Shirley Evans, and numerous grandchildren.
