Granbury – Shirley Mae Gordon, 88, of Granbury passed away Monday, July 6, 2015, in Granbury.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Gordon was born Oct. 21, 1926, in Omaha, Nebraska to Clell and Avis Ely Morse.

She married Dale Gordon, Feb. 20, 1963, in Santa Cruz, California. She had lived in Granbury since 1978.

She retired as owner/operator of Dale’s Superette grocery store in Santa Cruz.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, sisters Maxine, Marilyn, Phyllis and brother, Robert.

Survivors: Daughters, Linda Spencer and husband, Lee, of Granbury, Debbie Anderson and Tom Aldrich, of Keri Keri, New Zealand; grandsons, Lee Spencer Jr., Mark Spencer, Ryan Aldrich; great-grandson, Jeremy Spencer; brother, Larry Morse of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
