GRANBURY — Sonja Chiles, 72, beloved wife and mother, passed away Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014, in Granbury.
Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Holly Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Sonja was born Sept. 5, 1942, in Okeene, Okla., to James Ivan Massey and Selma Mae Dout Massey. She married James Wesley Chiles, June 17, 1960, in Panhandle, Texas. She moved to Granbury in 1972 and was a member of Eastridge Baptist Church. She loved entertaining her family and taking care of her kids and grandkids. Sonja was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed travel and flying with her husband.
Survivors: Husband, James Chiles; sons, Jim Chiles and wife, Kathy, Randy Chiles and wife, LeeAnn; grandchildren, Brian Harrison and wife, Amy, Nathan Chiles and wife, Laura, Ashley Chiles and Cody Mobley; great grandchildren, Hayden Hitshew, Lindsey Harrison, Kayla Hitshew, Tryniti Chiles, Cooper Chiles; extended family and many friends.
