I am glad that I worked with Steve at Greenwood. A true professional, sincere and an overall great man. The world needs more people like Steve.
Russell Allen left a message on March 10, 2020:
I enjoyed working with Steve for many years at Greenwood Funeral Home. He was a kind, soft-spoken and gentle-hearted man who genuinely cared for the many families he assisted over a long career in funeral service. He will be missed but never forgotten. God bless you dear friend.
John Goobeck left a message on March 10, 2020:
I enjoyed working with Steve while he was with us here at Greenwood, as well as after he retired. He helped us with out of town gravesides quite often during his retirement. He will be greatly missed by all of us!
Cynthia J Mosley Myers left a message on March 10, 2020:
I met Steve in 1968 - 69 when he worked for Gause Ware Funeral Home in Haltom City and sang in the choir at Friendly Lane Baptist Church (I was the organist for the church). We had many good times "after hours" at Gause Ware playing and singing on the "rinky tink" piano with Gary Moore who was a student at SWBTS and later music director at First Baptist Dallas. Those were good days and fond memories. So glad that Steve had Deb and Shannon for the best and last years of his life. We will meet again in Heaven.
