Steve Woodall, 75, passed away on January, 13, 2021 in Granbury, TX.
A memorial service is being held at Acton Baptist Church on Saturday, January 16.
Steve was born June 15, 1945 to Troy and Pauline Woodall in Gadsden, Alabama. After graduating high school, Steve entered the Air Force where he served from 1964 – 1968, with two of those years being in Philippines.
After his service in the military, Steve married Betty Lewis from Centre, Alabama, and they settled in Georgia where Steve began a career in IT Management. Steve and Betty had three children and relocated to Texas in 1981 where he continued his career in IT until 2010.
Steve enjoyed coaching all of his children in sports when they were young and then later watching his grandkids in their extra-curricular activities. He took great pride in all of their accomplishments. Anyone who knew him also knows he was a big Auburn football fan and may have heard War Eagle a time or two. Later in life he enjoyed spending time with his wife and family, playing Mexican train with friends and watching old westerns.
Steve is survived by his wife of 52 years, Betty, and their three children, Eric Woodall (wife Lois), Stephanie Cobb and Terri Woodall, his grandchildren, Cooper and Stephen Cobb and Logan and Lexie Woodall as well as his brother Ken Woodall (wife Brenda).
He is preceded in death by his parents Troy and Pauline Woodall.
Steve was loved by many and will be missed.
War Damn Eagle!
