Syble Rains

Syble Rains, 77, of Granbury, passed away on Sunday, September 3, 2017. No services are planned at this time.
Syble was born on February 5, 1940 in Fort Worth, Texas to Margaret and Emmett Stapleton, Sr. Spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren was one of her favorite things to do. She especially enjoyed the times when they were little. She loved watching westerns, wrestling and old detective shows. She was a great cook and her specialty was “moon biscuits”. She loved music especially Mariachi bands. She also liked shopping. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons: Michael Anthony Stephenson and Terry Lee Rains, daughter: Virginia Louise Rains, and brother: Marvin Ray Stapleton.
Syble is survived by sons: Mark Allen Stephenson, and Timothy Lynn Rains, daughters: Letta Jeanette DeLeon and husband Eliseo and Sandra Marie Westbrook and husband Tim, 14 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, brothers: Emmitt “Butch” Stapleton Jr. and wife Mary, and Philip Flories, sisters: Bonita Flories and husband Mike, Patricia Sherrin, and Stephanie Alexander, and sister-in-law, Sandra Kay Stapleton.
