Teresa Matzen

Teresa Matzen, 60, of Granbury is at peace after a long illness; she passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020. No services are planned at this time.
Teresa was born on August 19, 1959 in Iowa City, Iowa to William and Sandra Cornett. She married Wayne Matzen on December 2, 1977 in Waterloo, Iowa. She was a great housewife and a great cook who loved taking care of her family. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed having pizza, ice cream and theme parties for them featuring different countries around the world.
Teresa was a dispatch supervisor for the trucking industry. She is survived by her husband Wayne, daughter: Tabitha Matzen, son: Tom Matzen, grandchildren: Zackery Burton, Tasha Hartman, Samantha Wann, Mikey Wann, Jacy Matzen, Brooklyn Matzen, McKenzee Lance, and Tyler Seay, parents: William and Sandra Cornett, and sisters: Tammy Gomez, and Kelly Fluid.
