Thomas McLaughlin, formerly of Floral Park, NY passed away on November 13, 2019. Devoted and beloved husband to Barbara, loving father to Charles (Teresa), Deirdre (Wayne), Barbara (Jack) and Thomas. Treasured grandfather to Tom, James, Katie, Chrissy, Allora, Siobhan, Declan, and Torin. Beloved brother of William (Diane) and Charles (Peggy), and part of a large family who loved him dearly. Born in Brooklyn to Helen and Charles McLaughlin, graduate of Bishop Loughlin High School, attended Queens College and St. John’s University. A proud Air Force veteran, he worked on the Orbiting Astronomical Observatory satellites for Grumman, before moving on to the Marshall Company and then First Boston. A military history buff, duck hunter and fly fisherman, he was a man with many interests and a keen curiosity. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who loved him.
