Thomas Ray Brandon was born on July 11, 1951, to Sidney and Bettie June (Rich) Brandon in Borger, Texas.

Service was held at 2pm, Sunday, July 3, 2022, Wiley Funeral Home 400 US Hwy 377 E., Granbury, Texas 76048.

Tom graduated from West Texas State in 1973 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Tom completed his internship with the IRS then worked for Keeney, Hembree, and Company which eventually became Barton Brandon Co CPA. Tom was a member of Dumas Lion’s Club. He loved fishing, golf, country music, and trips to Las Vegas.

Tom is survived by his wife Sue Holt, daughter Jennifer Peatrowsky, granddaughters Destiny White and Emily Newby, brother Robert Brandon, stepchildren Jamie & Cory Detten, Jessica & Shane Miller, and grandchildren Jolie, Emily, Gibson, and Hayes.

In lieu of flowers please donate to one of Tom’s favorite charities: Wounded Warrior’s, Shriners Hospitals, or Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch.

Tommy [that's the only name I ever knew him by] was one of my longest friends. We went to church together and bonded. We did a lot together in junior high [even though he went to the school that shall not be named] and through high school. He was a genuinely good man. Of course, I wish I had stayed in touch better.
