Tim was born on January 10, 1963, in Abilene, Texas to Marcia Shirley and Doug Sellers. Tim grew up in Abilene, and graduated from Abilene High School in 1981. He married his sweet wife, Christine, on December 1, 1990 and they shared 27 beautiful years together.
Tim worked as a Paramedic for many years before earning his RN license and working for ten years for Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Fort Worth. This year he was presented with the ER Nurse of the Year Award at Baylor. Tim’s compassion and authentic concern for people was evident to everyone who knew him, and it overflowed into everything he did.
Tim loved music and had a gift for playing the guitar. He was in the band, Abyss, in Austin when he was in his early twenties, and was still playing his guitar and teaching others to play as long as he could hold his guitar. He also loved snakes and to find them with his son. They had many great adventures together as a family searching for snakes in the beautiful Texas countryside. Tim loved all holidays, especially Halloween, with his annual Halloween party being the event of the year, but Christmas was his favorite.
Tim loved the Lord and had a special gift of sharing Christ with others in his daily life.
He is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
